Shane Logan, an Environmental Attorney, is on his way to battle the biggest case of his young career when his car breaks down leaving him with no other choice than to take the bus. He never expected to find a lovely young woman like Kat at the bus station and on the same bus.
They sit beside each other and chat along the way…until a horrific accident occurs and Kat is barely hanging on to life. She wonders if she will ever see Shane again. Shane pulled her out of the wreckage and she worries that he may have died from his own injuries and is unable to find out any information.
Kat is surprised and elated when Shane finds his way to her small town and her family’s home. He has come to see her but he is also there to right the wrongs of a greedy billionaire and his beautiful but deceitful daughter. Will he hang around and take a chance on the woman whose life he saved?
